Billing and Payments

Cosmocloud charges on a per-project basis, using a monthly subscription model. All resources spinned up / requested are taken into the account and charged on a monthly basis on your preferred mode of payment.

Upgrading & Downgrading

Cosmocloud will charge you based in the number of resources you spin up and charges you on monthly subscription basis.

Whenever you upgrade or downgrade any resource, our platform will automatically prorate your subscription - meaning, it will automatically increase or lower the subscription at that instant and charge you the amount adjusted for that month.

If you are downgrading, you might have some credits allocated to you, which you can check on your Billing Portal.

Deleting a Project

If you delete your Project or Organisation, Cosmocloud will first downgrade you subscription to 0 (adding unused credits, if any) and then deleting your project.

This means that if you create any new Project, you can reutilise the remaining credits in that project.

Unused Credit

When you downgrade a project or delete a project, you get credits to you.

For example, if your monthly bill is $200 per month and you downgrade to $100 per month after 15 days, you would get $50 credit in your account.

You can then reutilise these credits in the next month's bill.

The unused credits are credited to a billing account made with the email of the Organisation Creator, which means that if you delete your Organisation and had some Pro Projects in it, then the same person who previously created the Organisation should create the next organisation to utilise the created credits, if any.
