# Performance Considerations

Cosmocloud performs exactly like a native coded solution and has inbuilt support for Async / Concurrency. It intelligently knows when to run sync code vs async code in your APIs so that your performance is auto tuned to perfection.

## Free Tier Considerations

APIs on Free Tier might not have the best performance, due to -

* Free Tier projects are deployed on Shared infrastructure - Shared CPU and RAM.
* They connect to MongoDB over Data APIs and not native SDKs.
* They have rate limitation and other system abuse checks.
* Might not be available 24\*7 due to resource requirements.
